Troutline Tactical Pink Lantern Emerger is a delicate and highly effective fly, originally developed in Poland for fishing in slow-running and clear waters.
This pattern carries a special story. About fifteen years ago, on the banks of the San River, we met a local Polish fisherman who out-fished everyone around him. When we stopped to talk, he shared his little secret: a translucent pink mylar fiber he had found in his wife’s dress! ????
He used that fiber to rib the body of his emergers, creating a subtle shimmer that trout simply couldn’t ignore. Years later, we managed to find the same type of material and began producing it on our own spools. We sent him a few, and he told us he still catches fish just like the day we first met.
The result is the Pink Lantern Emerger — a fly with a story, built to catch selective trout when the water is calm, clear, and challenging.
