Pre-Order Policy

What is a pre-order?

Simply put, a pre-order is an order you can make for a new item before it is in stock and available for delivery.

Am I guaranteed to get an item in the promised shipping period or availability date?

No, when an item opens for pre-order, we don't always have the full details on availability. Generally speaking, the estimated arrival date is accurate. However, it’s not uncommon for manufacturers to miss dates of delivery. You can always check the product item page for the most up to date information on availability.

Do you charge my credit card at the time of purchase or when the item ships?

Yes, we do capture funds or do pre-authorizations during checkout. Paying by PayPal requires the full amount to be paid upfront too.

Can I cancel or modify a pre-order?

Absolutely! We have a no-hassle policy toward cancellations and returns. If at any time prior to your items shipping you wish to cancel or change your order simply email us at [email protected] (If clicking this doesn't open your email client, copy and paste in to your email) Note: Trout Line does not charge any lame cancellation or restocking fees!

What if I order multiple items, can I combine in stock and pre-order items?

Yes of course you can combine in stock and pre-order items. We will charge you for all items and ship the ones that are available immediately. The the pre-order items will be shipped later when they arrive in stock. Note, if you wish to receive all the items in one single parcel you need to wait till the pre-order items arrive and add a comment informing us about this request when placing the order. The shipping amount you are charged during check out is based on a single package (free shipping for the pre-order items).

How long will it take to ship out my pre-order once an item is received?

We begin filling pre-orders the day we receive the items. We process and ship orders 7 days a week so in most instances you can expect to receive your shipping notification in one or two business day.
