I purchased these hooks in variuos sizes a while ago but hadn't really got round to using them until recently. I tied up a few #18 Plume Tips and the first fish that I caught was a 5-6lb overwintered Brownie that fought like a demon. Needless to say there were a few anxious moments whilst this fish took me in to the backing twice but the hook held all through this epic battle and on netting the fish there it was firmly in the scissors.Rating

This hooks is my favorite, the shape is perfect for my wet flies but in the same time for my nymphs. I like to tie flies with short body, I don't like to tie on hooks with long shank so this model is suits perfectly for my needs. I like it because is strong, the wire is nice and elastic and is not so thick like hanak's hooks.
More than that is not an expensive hooks, I really like it!
