Troutline Tactical Violet HS Perdigon BL is a micro nymph developed for fishing trout and grayling in the second part of the season. This nymph works great on rivers with cold water and dark colored stones and rocks. The violet color seems to be more efficient for both grayling and trout especially when the Autumn starts.
The body of fly is tied with Body Quill to provide a deep glossy look, similar with the transparency of the natural insects. After that is coated with 2-3 layers of UV Perdigon resin for increased durability.
Perdigon Details:
- medium sized flies like #14 should be used in very strong currents or deep pools
- small size like #16 should be used in medium flowing currents
- #14 is tied with 3mm tungsten bead
- #16 is tied with 2.5mm tungsten bead
