Tied on a jig hook, this fly rides point-up and works very well close to the bottom, reducing the risk of snags while keeping a natural nymph silhouette. The pheasant tail fibres provide the proven natural look, while the purple tail adds a subtle but effective contrast that can make a real difference in pressured waters or when fish are selective.
