The PF9 is our CDC version of Danica Mayfly tied as parachute. The body is made of yellow mayfly cdc and the hackle is made using the sandwich technique: a CDC feather is combined with a rooster feather and together fixed on a CDC parachute axe. It is one of the most difficult technique but the fly became resistible!
A very important aspect is that our range of parachute dry flies are not overdressed like those tied in american style. These flies are made for ultra educated fish, the hackle is sparce and the tail is perfect balanced to provide a superior water print! For this reason we recommend a only CDC oil as dressing.
