Troutline Tactical Hot Spot Peacock Quill and Hare Nymph is a fast-sinking jig nymph tied with a tungsten bead, segmented peacock quill body, spiky hare thorax and a small hot spot behind the bead.
The peacock quill body gives this fly a semi-realistic silhouette and imitates very well the natural segmentation of aquatic insects. Its natural grey and dark shades make it an excellent searching nymph, especially when trout and grayling feed close to the bottom.
The spiky hare thorax adds a buggy look and subtle movement, while the hot spot behind the bead offers extra visibility and attraction without making the fly too aggressive. Tied on a jig hook, this nymph rides upside down and helps reduce bottom snags.
