Troutline Tactical GRHE and Orange Jig Nymph is a modern jig version inspired by the classic Gold-Ribbed Hare’s Ear, tied with a natural wild hare dubbing body, CDC hackle, orange UV thread accent and a peacock green Spectra dubbing thorax behind the tungsten bead.
The wild hare dubbing gives the fly a buggy, natural profile that suggests many aquatic nymphs found in trout and grayling rivers. The orange UV accent adds a visible trigger point, useful in fast currents, deeper runs or when fish need a small extra signal to react.
The CDC hackle brings soft movement and life to the fly, while the peacock green Spectra dubbing behind the bead adds a subtle shine and contrast without making the pattern too flashy. Tied on a jig hook with a tungsten bead, this nymph sinks fast and fishes close to the bottom with fewer snags.
A strong searching nymph for trout and grayling, especially when targeting better fish in medium and fast water.
Nymph features:
Recommended use: Medium and fast currents, riffles, pocket water and deeper runs, especially when you need a natural nymph with a small visible trigger.
