Our series of ceramic nymphs are made based on French models. Very popular in France in north parts of Alps, these flies are highly efficient in waters where nymphs with beads or classic nymphs are very common. We all know that in rivers with high fishing pressure the fish is educated in time by C&R practice. These nymphs developed by French competitors are slim, discrete with a fast sinking rate and are on trout and grayling taste. Making these nymphs is quite complicated but we develop a different approach to obtain better results with less time.
Why these flies and how should be used:
- slim profile provided a high sinking rate
- no dubbing, no other material late the fly to have a clear profile in front of the picky fish
- rhyacophila type of fly
- we recommend to be used in super fast flowing rivers as a top fly
- small and very small sizes are better then bigger sizes
- good alternative at Spanish perdigon nymphs
- we recommend long leaders and to be combined with other caddis type of nymph
- for medium and slow rivers we recommend long french leaders and only one fly
