Tanned Squirrel Skins represent a great source of fur for tying flies but also for making zonkers and salmon flies using the fur together with the skin. The fur structure and color are very nice speckled in different tones of gray and brown. The underfur density and guard fur elasticity and thickness are just perfect for tying nymphs, wet flies and dry flies.

The tanned skins offers endless possibilities for tying your own micro zonkers, giving you control over the length, tone, and shade of your strips ( of course, you need to cut the strips by yoursef). Species: Tamiasciurus douglasii
