You will find some successful patterns like red quill dry fly, mosquito dry fly, ginger quill mayfly and other similar patterns.
How to use the stripped quill:
*We recommend to soak the quill in warm water just before tying. In this way the quill will be easily handled twisted on the hook shank. Our advice is to twist and form the fly body using the natural curve of the fly. In this way you will obtain a nice segmented body with a superb look and you will avoid to snap of the stem feather.
*If you want to obtain a super flat body then after soaking you can ironing it carefully. You will have a fantastic segmented body!
