The colored feathers are from dye ofer natural. This means that they are not solid colors. Natural shades are iridescent through the dye. For example, yellow has beautiful bronze iridescence in the area of the tips of the barbels. This makes the feathers attractive and interesting to the fish. We do not bleach the feathers before dyeing in order to preserve the natural shades and not to reduce the resistance to breaking of the barbels.
