We consider the Kapok Dubbing as the finest dubbing for dry flies. For those who do not know kapok is originated in Asia and this material is very similar with cotton. The fibers are very fine and are very easy to dubb on the tying thread. More than that the special structure of these fibers are unique and do not retain water. For this reason kapok was used many years for life saving vests!
