We offer a convenient set which is dedicated for those who are stepping in uv resin tying world. The set contain a Laser Pen and a Clear Perdigon Resin of 10ml.
Troutline Perdigon UV Resin Clear 10ml is our newest resin. We started to use it for tying our range of micro nymphs and perdigon nymphs using this reason. What we love at this resin is how thin it is and how fast and uniform is covering the entire body without trapping air bubbles. An extra advantage is in viscosity, due to the fact that the resin is ultra thin means that the layer remain thin and the fly will have a delicate silhouette . A classic or thick resin will make a bulky fly and when is about small flies then the result will be fatty flies like a ball.
More about this Resin:
- it is super thin and this is not bad! A super thin resin will spread very fast on fly body without trapping air bubbles
- because the resin is super thin, only a super small drop is enough to cover the fly! These means that more flies can be tied with the same volume!
- a super thin resin will penetrate better the body of the fly and will provide durability after curing
- cures super fast and easy!
- cures transparent and non sticky/tacky!
- cures in UV light spectrum in the range of 350-420nm
- cures with any kind of cheap uv pen or torch, no needed a special and expensive light!!
- cures without heating! - means no damaging the body of the fly or fragile materials used!

Laser Pen Technical Details:
- laser UV type of light
- 390-410nm wave range
- cures UV resins like Trout Line UV Resins, Deer Creek UV Resins, Bug-Bond UV Resin, Loon UV Resins
- curing time from 1 to 3 seconds depending of how thick is the layer
- for big streamer heads or big streamers bodies the curing time can vary from 3 sec to seconds
- delivered without batteries
- can be used for curing the UV Gel applied on waders to fix small leaks
Very Important!:
- Do not point the light in the eye because laser light can produce blindness
- Do not drink the resin, is toxic
- Do not let the laser pen and the resin in hand of children, is dangerous!

Good resin, a little bit too watery for my taste but it coats fast. I noticed a problem, when the batteries are not fully loaded the resin will remain a little bit sticky.
