Serbian Bambula flies are a distinctive style of dry flies originating from the Balkan region, especially Serbia, and are known for their unique construction using balsa wood. These flies are part of a traditional Serbian fly-tying style and are popular among local and regional anglers for their effectiveness in fast-flowing mountain rivers, particularly when fishing for big trout late in evenings.
We found these flies to be extremely effective for chub fishing in both lakes and rivers. They are easy to cast, can be splashed onto the water to attract fish, and can withstand strike after strike. The fly is highly buoyant, but if you want to prevent fish slime from affecting the hackle, it's recommended to apply floatant to the indicator and the rooster hackle.
