Durable, easy to fix in the boot and cheap regarding orvis, patagonia or simms. I used my drilling machine and in 5 min I fixed 20 of them 10 for each boot.
The idea using a key is not very good. It takes too much time. Maybe when you are out fishing and you want to replace a stud.
