The classic spinnerbait set up is composed of one or more blades linked trough a swivel or clevise in the upper part and by a lead head with hook and skirt in the lower part. Introducing the Quake the Herakles team decided to
radically innovate this design: the wire structure is the same, but an ABS head with hook and skirt is added on the upper part. The lead head is positioned in the lower part and is equipped with a blade attached trough a split ring and a swivel.
The reason behind this “mutation” is the idea to develop a spinnerbait that allows a good retrieve on flats and rocky grounds, where a classic spinnerbait with the hook positioned in the lower part does not always guarantee good performances.
The swim of the Quake is characterized by a huge number of vibrations, and is perfect for stimulating the attacks of big predators by simulating a school of bait fish or simply by disturbing them.
