The simple trick of adding fly line floatant or dry fly dressing like Fly Line Floatant from Hends to your braid or mono mainline can make it a lot easier to mend your line.

Helps a lot when I fish nymphs of wet fly and I want to use the end of the fly line for indicate the strike.Rating
I used also for dry fly and it works very well. First I wash the fly in water, then I dry with cotton of amadou.
