The Tactical Olive and Silver was developed in Slovakia on river Vah where fishing pressure is very high. We tied this fly first with gold beads. Worked well on our home water and in Italy but in Slovakia and Poland where are a lot of fishermen specialized in nymphing, this fly was not so effective like we expected. We changed the color based on advice received from some local fishermen and from advises received from Peter Durisik. When we changed the bead color from gold to silver we started to have beautiful grayling and trout on this fly.
From that moment we decided to offer to our clients and friends this pattern tied in this way!
The fly is perfect for fishing in middle of Summer and in Autumn time!
