All our feathers are selected and measured using Tiemco Hackle gauge which is similar in size with Whiting gauge.
- 6 saddle feathers/ bag

- only feathers for dry flies
- only feathers with high density barbs
We use them for tying our series of flies and based on requests received from our clients we decided to offer these beautiful fly tying feathers. Is well known that an entire saddle is very expensive and probably will last a life time. The problem is with that the feathers get old and the color is changing in time. Also the elasticity and the natural oil. A patch with selected feathers is the best solution for occasional tiers and is more economical.
All these feathers are carefully selected by hand to be sure that our clients will receive nice feathers without damaged or broken barbs. All barbs are symmetrical and fine and the stem is nice and elastic without soft web.

Nice and perfect made selection of feathers. I love this stuff because all feathers are nice and dense. Bright colors and the stem is elastic. I ordered from other shop and all feathers where broken with stiff stem. These are really nice! Thanks! (Posted on 1/22/2020)Rating
