Troutline GRHE and partridge BL Bug is a simple but effective fly for trout fishing. We consider it a classic nymph and was developed in time by fishermen from Poland and Czech Republic . The fly works great in the first part of the fishing season especially for trout. We consider it a great searching pattern and the bright hot spot induce attack even when the fish are lethargic due to cold waters.
Fishing technique recommendation:
- can be fished as a top fly or a dropper fly
- is a perfect searching type of nymph
- perfect for trout fishing
- czech nymphing is the most adequate technique for this type of nymph
- perfect for fishing in rocky rivers
- perfect for fishing in fast and very fast flowing rivers
- can be used in a team with classic nymph but also with an emerger
- should be used from late February until in the middle of July
- big nymphs on big waters , small nymphs on small waters
- the size should be tuned depending how clear is the water: very clear water, very small nymph and vice-versa
